Erdman Trail Closed to Biking

Good News — The forecast includes snow!  With this news, the Erdman Ski Trail (that connects Blackhawk with Pleasant View), is now closed to biking.

A small group of hard working volunteers (thanks to Jay, Beth, Dirk, Tim, Jeff) built a bypass that can be used (see below).

From Pleasant View, ride on the right side of the ski trail, then go into the woods and ride a roughed out single track. That crosses the ski trail, and then you’ll stay north of the ski trail, and go around the east side of the pond.

This trail is flagged with orange ribbons, so it’s easy to follow. Unfortunately, it’s really rough — so keep the pressure low in your tires! Hopefully we’ll get some snow, and the new groomer will smooth it out.
