Blackhawk Jumpers recently completed their 2015-16 season by sending 2 jumpers to JR Nationals in Salisbury Connecticut. The two made Blackhawk proud! Anna Hoffmann is now the current National Champion and Erik Gessner finished 13th on the boys side. Way to go Blackhawk! Last nights thunderstorms signaled an end to winter at Blackhawk. Alpine tows are closed for the season. There is still snow on the hills and the Siberian Highway so you can still earn your turns. Mtn bike trails are now open for the season! For current trail conditions go to http://www.madcitydirt.com/ This site should be used as a guide when using the trails. Regardless, please do not ride on the trails if they're wet. The best test is to see if your tire is leaving a tread mark--if it is, the trail is too wet and you should not be riding. Hi All- We have started blowing snow at Blackhawk with great success! Cold weather after the natural snow allowed us to pile up the snow all weekend long. Mother nature is kicking back this week with another warmup so hopefully we can keep the fantastic mountains of white stuff and get back to making later in the week. Enjoy the photos.
