Blackhawk is considered by many as one of Madison’s hidden gems. Yet, too many in the area know little, if anything, about Blackhawk. Some still believe it is nearly impossible to join Blackhawk. Although that was true five years ago, the membership caps have been removed.  As of now, alpine lesson are almost sold out, however there are still a limited number of snowboarding lessons available, and private lessons are always available. There are probably other misconceptions out there, so it’s time to set the record straight and share some facts.

  • We make snow on all alpine and most cross country trails.
  • We have a terrain park on hill #2.
  • Not only have we just built a new West Chalet, we have also built a new Biathlon Haus.
  • Over the past year there have been extensive improvements to the mountain biking trails.
  • Bike trails will be open for fat tire biking during the winter.

Do you know someone who loves the outdoors? Share these facts along with your Blackhawk experiences and ecnourages others to join Blackhawk.
