Come to the Blackhawk Bash on Sunday, October 9th, for the Blackhawk Ski Club's annual fall open house and fundraising event. This will also mark Blackhawk's 64th anniversary. Bring along your family and friends. RSVP below.
We have many fun events scheduled throughout the day. We'll have a ski jumping longest standing competition, biathlon, hay wagon rides and a bouncy house. Sports equipment stores including Les Moise and North Face will be on site showing and selling the latest gear. Play It Again Sports will be back at the Bash with a variety of equipment for sale. There will also be Blackhawk apparel and Blackhawk pins for sale.
This year we will hold a raffle along with a silent auction. Prizes include ski equipment, lift tickets, gift baskets, and much more. Proceeds from the day benefit Blackhawk youth programs and outreach programs for disadvantaged youth.
We will have a Kids' Fun Bike Race, for kids on trikes or training wheels, through age 12. Age appropriate courses will be set. Helmets are mandatory!
Come rain or shine-we've rented a large party tent. We'll have great food, beverages, and entertainment!

Volunteers
The Club needs volunteers to help out with parking, merchandise sales, food service, setup/takedown, and other tasks critical to the success of the event. Please contact Christine Gessner at bash@blackhawkskiclub.org if you can assist by volunteering during the Bash.
Raffle

Ski Clothing Donations
Bring along your clean, gently used but nice ski jackets, pants, gloves and hats to be donated and used for our outreach cross country ski program. Look for donation bins by the East Chalet. Children's sizes 8-16 are in greatest need.

Looking to buy or sell used ski equipment? Then join the Blackhawk Ski Club Yahoo Forum to list equipment for sale or request what you're looking for among other Blackhawk members.
